Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about renting a boat in Greece with a skipper.

Do I need a boating license to rent a boat with a skipper?
No. When you rent a boat with a professional skipper, no boating license is required. You can fully relax and enjoy the experience while the skipper handles navigation and safety.
What is included in a skippered boat rental?
The rental includes the boat, a licensed skipper, safety equipment and basic insurance. Fuel is usually not included and is charged based on consumption at the end of the trip.
Is fuel included in the price?
Fuel is not included unless explicitly stated. At the end of your trip, fuel consumption is calculated and paid separately in a transparent way.
How long is a typical boat rental?
Most rentals are half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours). Custom durations are also available upon request.
Can we swim and stop at beaches during the trip?
Absolutely. Your skipper will take you to beautiful beaches, hidden coves and swimming spots, depending on sea conditions and your preferences.
How many people can join the boat?
Capacity depends on the boat. Smaller boats usually host 4–6 guests, while larger boats and yachts can accommodate 8–12 people comfortably.
Can we bring our own food and drinks on board?
Yes. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Some boats also offer coolers, and catering can be arranged upon request.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If weather conditions are unsafe, we will reschedule your trip or provide a full refund.
Is this suitable for families and children?
